2012 Changes are Happening

Has it been a year?  Perhaps and lots has happened.  Multiple bookkeeping jobs in hand.  Mom had surgery and have moved her into my house to take care of her.

Gratitude for everything and everyone around me is very important daily since one never knows what is on the other side of this minute.

I’ve recently been reading 4 Hour Body by the guy that wrote 4 Hour Workweek.  Some very interesting theories of not only  weight loss but increasing one’s strength, general health for mind and body.  Lots of technical mumbo jumbo as well as plain writing.

I started the basic plan on 3/6 as I AM TOTALLY IN THE MODE TO CHANGE.

PSI Seminars was a great start to look at myself and how I was so devoted to others and not myself.  I have slipped back although not as far back and have been looking at ways to push my box out again.  So here I am again, writing in my food diary, writing in my blog.

I won’t put this up on FB so you will need to follow along with me here.  Words of encouragement are always welcome.  As well as anything that might be insightful for any of the readers.

The plan covers protein and veggies.  No processed sugar, bread, pasta, yellow starch, rice, corn – dark green stuff which I do like fortunately.  Ice water is plan of the regimen also.  One day a week to eat whatever you want however that will, of course, stall ones system a bit. Fiber is necessary though.

Should I keep my food diary here-how boring that sounds…..asparagus, green beans, black beans, refried beans, chicken, fish, lean meat, turkey – I think you get the idea and I don’t need to repeat.  The 4HB plan includes lots of beans, all kinds of beans, add lemon juice to water to hasten weight loss and more.

Day 7 is tomorrow – this guy says  you can lose up to 20 lbs the first month. However since I’m not going to do the 54 degrees cold water baths I’m not sure how that will affect the 20 lbs goal.  Let’s just see.

Right now I don’t feel any different with my clothes although the scale says I’ve lost 5 lbs which is cool in itself.
